Coventry Webinar: Long COVID and the Enduring Challenges for Workers

Event Details

Start: June 29, 2021 @ 8:00PM EDT End: @ Location: Online Event

Just like the novel coronavirus itself, the emergence of so-called long COVID has surprised both the patients who couldn’t shake their symptoms and the clinicians who have struggled to provide effective treatments. Now, as the U.S. looks to move past the pandemic, there remain unanswered questions about how this fallout from the virus might hamper some workers and for how long. These uncertainties could have important implications for workers’ compensation. By some measures, one in four patients who get COVID-19—even those with mild or asymptomatic cases—will experience subsequent symptoms that range from muscle and nerve pain to breathing difficulties to anxiety and depression. The scope of the challenge will require providers and employers to better understand the nature of the conditions, their origins, and the best paths for treatment. Watch this on-demand webinar to learn more about long COVID and the implications for workers and employers.

What You Need to Know About Extended Reality

September 11, 2020

The concept of Extended Reality (XR) conjures up images of virtual computer worlds built as an escape from everything around us. Considering what 2020 has been like so far, that might seem pretty attractive, but extended reality provides us so much more than just an escape. It can be a teacher, tour guide, trainer or an assistant. XR is an umbrella term that encompasses both augmented and virtual reality. It’s rapidly moving out of the hands of gamers and into the world at large.

Peanut butter and jelly. Bacon and eggs. Coffee and cream. It’s hard to imagine one without the other. In fact, most would agree that they’re better together than apart. When it comes to business, the same can be said of great partners. Through shared vision and collaboration, successful partnerships have the power to delight customers, meet market needs and spark long-lasting transformation with the introduction of new, innovative solutions. Like any other market, the automotive insurance sector is dependent on fruitful alliances, especially those that use technology to enhance the claims process.
