Current Used Vehicle Market Conditions: Q1 2019
Average wholesale prices and retail used vehicle sales were strong in March, typifying the usual spring/tax season market uptick. In addition, our analysis increasingly indicates that prices for car segments are beginning to hold up better, while crossover and SUV truck segments may be starting to have a tougher go. In recent years, the opposite has been true. As mentioned in previous commentaries, this is to be expected as more crossovers and SUVs start coming home to roost from strong new vehicle sales over the last few years.

HealthCare.gov defines a formulary as, a list of prescription drugs covered by a prescription drug plan offering prescription drug benefits. Typically, a “prior authorization” for coverage is needed when a medication is not listed on the formulary or requires step therapy. Management of the formulary is often maintained by a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM), such as First Script. Meaning, when a medication is not on a formulary, First Script would start the prior authorization process to get approval for payment of the medication.
